It is a work in progress and the author of this blog (Robert A Williams) does not claim to be very versed in Video and is, in fact, just starting learning. However, the incredible power of modern technology means that the ability to shoot relatively good quality video is pretty much accessible to all. You can view the Youtube Channel via the button below and we would really love it if you would subscribe.

Platio turns footpaths into solar collectors

Platio is a brand-new business from Hungary devoted to putting photo-voltaic panels practically all over the world! They’re beginning with walkways, also called sidewalks in the USA and footpaths in the UK

Founded by a group of engineers and designers the system utilises strong photo-voltaic panels overlaid on plastic support that makes sure the panels won’t break when stepped on or rolled over which each panel gets in touch with the next firmly. Imre Sziszk is a mechanical engineer who developed the injection-molded bases while Mikls Ilys and Jzsef Cseh worked to make sure that the panels look excellent and work effectively.

They’ve raised $70,000 for the job up until now and they’ve offered 150 square meters of solar tile for their pilot tasks.

The item is recycled from plastic waste and they click together and interlock like LEGO. Electric wires inside the panels link effortlessly too, guaranteeing you can position them and forget them.

The creators are youth pals and eco-friendly innovation lovers, stated Sziszk. 2 years back, as all us occurred to transfer to Budapest we began hang out once again and understood as having know-how in extremely different fields we interact effectively. We began this job 2 years back, and established our business a year earlier, read more about this amazing environmentally sound creation here

The job is still a bit pie-in-the-sky however I saw the real item at the Smart City Expo and the group is currently delivering item to pilot clients. Its a remarkable effort to produce complimentary energy and decrease waste at the very same time and, as the group composes, its an option to the dismaying routine concrete paving components.

Here in Hebden Bridge the blog author suspects that the weather and comparative LUX levels would not be good enough for this sort of Technology to take off here in Yorkshire, where Silly Billy’s Toy Shop is based.

‘Father Of Pac-Man’ Dies

Masaya Nakamura, the founder of an innovative Japanese entertainment company that invented the video game Pac-Man, has died. He was 91.

The Associated Press reported Monday that game maker Bandai Namco, which includes the company Nakamura founded in 1955, confirmed his death, which occurred Jan. 22 2017. Company officials did not reveal a cause, The New York Times reported.

Nakamuras company, Namco, introduced Pac-Man in 1980, as the video game industry was in its infancy. The game became an instant hit with arcade players, who enjoyed racking up points by moving a chomping, circular Pac-Man around a board with an insatiable appetite to eat gold balls and elude ghosts.

Versions of Pac-Man were later made for home-gaming systems like Nintendo. Its popularity led to Pac-Man-themed merchandise and apparel, a short-lived animated television series, and spinoff games like Ms. Pac Man.

Nintendo, which worked with Namco for years, tweeted a tribute to Nakamura on Monday.

Nakamura Manufacturing originally operated mechanical rides at a Tokyo department store. The company, later renamed Namco, partnered with the retail chain that wanted childrens rides in all of its locations. In the 1970s, Namco delved into video games with Galaxian, a shooter game, and acquired Atari Japan.

Namco engineer Toru Iwatani invented Pac-Man, but it was reportedly Nakamura who came up with the name. Pac is short for pakku, which in Japanese denotes a munching sound.

The A.V. Club reported an alternate history of the games creation. It said Nakamura renamed the creation Pac-Man after recognizing that the original title, Puck Man, would inevitably lead vandals to deface the arcade game by replacing the P with an F.

In 2005, Namco merged with Bandai, forming a huge company specializing in toys, video games, and amusement facilities. It reported sales of 575.5 billion yen in 2016 more than $5 billion by the current exchange rate.

Nakamura held an honorary position with the company until his death, C-Net reported.

Nakamura, born in 1925, studied shipbulidng at the Yokahama Institute of Technology.

So why are we talking about the demise of the Father of PacMan in an article written in January 2017, when it is in fact, October 2017.

The only reason is for this challenge the blog Author has set himself of a blog-post per day up until Christmas Eve 2017, which could be quite a challenge !
